This site serves as the home for my general course materials. Course management (readings, syllabi, etc.) is done via Angel. The Class Resources link provides background material on topics of interest that cross my courses. Please see the video bio for more information about my background and teaching style.

Santa Clara University's location in the Silicon Valley is an important factor in the design of the learning environment. Many of the students are employed in the world's leading technology companies and bring a depth of insight to the sessions. Their relationships also allow us to take occasional "field trips," such as the July 2006 trip to Flextronics. Thank you to our hosts, Carol Szymkiewicz and Brad Vandehey.
